Do you think you are living with a Compulsive Gambler ?
Who is Gam-Anon for ? Gam-Anon meetings are for families and friends of
compulsive gamblers regardless of whether the gambler attends Gamblers Anonymous or not.
What is Gam-Anon ? Gam-Anon provides support and encouragement for the
families and friends of compulsive gamblers, and helps them to understand the problem and to help overcome it.
Compulsive Gambling is recognised as an emotional
illness. Living with this illness proves to be a devastating experience. Family relationships become unbearable strained. The home is filled with bitterness, frustration and resentment.
There seems to be no way to solve our insurmountable difficulties. We are unable to think rationally at times.
If you are affected by someone else's gambling; Gam-Anon can help! Gam-Anon Meetings
are for the friends and families who have been affected by a gambling problem. You are not alone!
Gam-Anon and GA Gam-Anon meetings are usually held on the same nights as GA meetings but in separate
rooms. The two fellowships do not share experiences or information about each other.
What Next ? If you think you are living with a compulsive gambler or have a member of your family who
